With a physiotherapy degree behind me, I have actively sought out the latest quality techniques in healthcare from a range of other professions including Osteopathy, Chiropractic, Massage Therapy and Structural Integrators.I have combined this additional knowledge into practical tools which allows for their implementation into a clinical setting - my clients need actual solutions, not just theory!My satisfaction comes from getting my clients better as quickly and efficiently as possible and being able to pass on my developed concepts to other therapists so they can look after their clients as well.I enjoy learning as much as I enjoy teaching which is why, despite lecturing approximately 15-20 courses each year to other health professionals, I still make a point of attending courses as a participant with the intent to seek out new techniques to integrate into my existing arsenal.In the last 4 years alone I have:- taught more than 50 Kinesio Taping (KT1-2 and KT3) courses- presented lectures on a range of topics to four different universities around Australia- presented my clinical research on pelvic and low back pain at conferences in Vancouver, Sydney and at Stanford University- presented lectures for the Australian Physiotherapy Association- presented at physiotherapy, massage therapy, lymphoedema, podiatry and fitness conferences on diverse topics such as Anatomy Trains, Fascial Fitness, Kinesio Taping and Ergonomics in the Workplace.- mentored physiotherapy students as part of their university degree- and of course got thousands of my clients back to performing and moving at their optimal level.I love what I do and intend to keep learning, teaching and treating for quite some time!For more information on what I have learnt, taught and attended, please refer to the attached CV.
