Business Planner
Current• Ensure that customer requirements are reflected correct in the MRP system and conducted at suppliers in order to guarantee on time delivery at minimum cost. Support all Dialog customers within the yearly revenue goals. Ensure production costs and inventories are kept on the bare minimum level• Identify areas for improvement on the processes, procedures, work instructions and systems (tools) used within the Global Supply Chain team. Works together with the System Engineering team to create functional specifications and performs (system) tests and checks to verify the correct functionality required.• Analyse & Feedback on Sales forecast in order to create an accurate Production forecast as the basis for Supplier forecasting and Production starts.• Analyse capacity requirements and identify areas for actions to reduce and/or increase capacity.• Ensure continuous supplier loading according to agreed capacities (daily/weekly run rates)• Be responsible for correct and timely order confirmations to customers and follows (monitor and analyse) the on time delivery schedule to the customers. Be the between the Customer/customer service/sales and the Planning team.• Be responsible for product and project management through complete product life cycle. Support the product development projects with sample supply, initiate and monitor correct master data settings. Do the determination of the export control exception codes and provides inputs for Business Case evaluation. Is the interface between Engineering teams and total Planning team.• Identify the products that are candidates for products phase out, contacts the appropriate people to provide a product phase out plan, monitors the execution of the product phase out.• Be responsible for a correct inventory projection in the MRP system at all times and analysis the inventory with respect to age, excess and/or obsolete inventory.
