🔥 HOW A LITERATURE STUDENT BECOMES A TECHNOLOGY CONSULTANT? 🔥Let’s see my journey !!!👩‍🏫When I was a high school girl in my hometown, I was an excellent literature student with my writing skill. At that time, I innocently thought that “Oh, maybe I should become a journalist in the future”. But my life’s totally changed when I decided to become an engineer student at my university. It sounds like a random decision, but actually it is the most accurate choice in my life. 👩‍🎓 Being an engineer student with the major of Logistics and Supply Chain Management at International University of HCMC, I have found the passion about system and software to optimize the company’s resources. I didn’t realize that the literature student like me have “ a sense of system” until I have more chance to “play” with it. So, to enhance my knowledge in a deep manner, I also applied to become a Teaching Assistant. Moreover, I achieved some scholarships for my outstanding performance at school. These achievements and interest in studying made me ensure that I have been in a right place in my journey.👩‍💻 Besides, to develop my career path, I joined some internship programs in System Support position at GS Battery Co., and Kuehne+Nagel Vietnam Co. At that time, I have a chance to work directly with the system, including Warehouse Management System, and Transportation Management System. These jobs help me have a clearer picture about the journey that I am pursuing. The knowledge and skills I have got from these internships have supported me to fulfill the job’s requirements of ERP Implementation Consultant at World Fashion Exchange, which has shown me the things that the “System Players” would do in their careers. 🏆 So, It is how a literature student pursues the career path of Technology Consultant. It might be hard at the initial phase to absorb a lot of technical knowledge, but It’s worthwhile when I can try my best for the thing I love.
