In this role, my responsibility is to design and maintain various aspect of the IT infrastructure of all branches of the company. This involves ensuring that systems are backed up regularly and can be restored, monitoring performance and health of systems, deploying and configuring new hardware, recommending or assisting in the selection of new systems, designing, maintaining and administering Cyclone's data Centre and cloud infrastructure. A few notable project that I have worked on:• Moved the company's Disaster Recovery solution to Azure to make it more resilient.• Replaced existing backup system with a more robust and more cost effective solution• Implemented a more centralized alerting/notification system• Redesigned network at company head office to meet growing business needs.• Integrated signature service to the mail service

In this role, my responsibility is to maintain various aspect of the IT infrastructure of all branches of the company, maintain and administer security policies and procedures, manage network, and provide all level of technical support to the business. Some of the work that I have done while in this position include:• Upgraded hardware and redesigned server infrastructure.• Introduced a DR site in one of the company's branch office• Redesigned SQL environment to make it highly available to support new services.• Deployed Wi-Fi and redesigned the network in all branches using Aruba APs and switches• Deployed new FortiGate firewall appliances in all branches of the company.• Provisioned office 365 and migrated email service to exchange online

In this role, my responsibility is to provide all level of technical support to the business, maintain servers, carry out patching and remediation. A few things that I have done while in this role:• Fixed problem of intermittent mail service failure that plagued the company.• Resolved mail flow issues that previously prevented the company from sending invoices through email. With this fixed, the company stopped sending paper invoices.
