Partnered with the broader university Human Resource teams to support, create, improve, and implement people processes with precision, confidentiality, and timeliness for 24K+ employees and retirees.• Directly trained and assisted multiple HR teams and employees in areas of onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, new hire orientation, unemployment claims, background checks, payroll, records maintenance, I-9, employment verification, employee relations, and timekeeping.• Improved team business processes by maximizing use of HRIS (Workday) and ticketing database (Oracle). Created instructional guides and facilitated learning and development of 5 team members on benefits administration resulting in increased efficiency and accuracy in team work flow.• Collaborated with team in creating and implementing customer service scripts to assist new employees with confidentiality and empathy in benefits enrollment, annual enrollment, 1095-C distribution, significant plan changes, and qualifying life events. Acted as front-line support to successfully resolve 150+ requests weekly.• Maximized utilization of Workday, Oracle, DEFINE, Microsoft Office and internal information systems to understand multiple business processes resulting in process improvement of benefits management, customer service procedures, and interdepartmental communication standards.• Compiled and analyzed Workday reports on hiring and employment authorization (Form I-9) business processes to assist university wide department Human Resource partners.• Analyzed and studied federal, university, UT System, and Texas Administrative Code policies and laws for compliance and to liaise with and provided guidance to university wide department Human Resource partners.• Directly advised and consulted on employees’ needs based on policies and laws delivering accurate and timely customer service to units and employees university wide resulting in 100+ resolved requests weekly.
