My experience exceeds over 20 years, in the medical & Insurance industry. My initial experience in the medical field was working for Humana while I was in College. I soon learned my true passion was working for medical Practices, which introduced me to leadership skills in the billing department. In my previous role, I was the Medical Billing Director and my department handled, Credentialing, Claims submission, Appeals, and Denials and collections. I specifically handled the A/R and I personally trained my staff on how to handle a growing A/R and to get approvals on most denials. I have also assisted, providers with the meaningful use and MIPS/MACRA for many providers.
