As Group Event Coordinator, I serve as a liaison for our group, transient, and entertainment clients from contract to departure. I make room block changes as needed, update and process billing, conduct site visits with potential clients, and work closely with my management team to assist with any administrative assistance they require. I compose and disperse group resumes to ensure our hotel is prepared for group arrivals. I also communicate specific personal requests that our many entertainment guests have, while working alongside the Front Desk and Housekeeping departments to ensure our guests are receiving the best service we have to offer.

My sole purpose is to support our front desk agents by empowering them to take on the guest issues they encounter throughout the day. This includes the investigation and settlement of guest disputes where in some cases I have to speak with their banking institution to solve these issues. In 2018, my department has generated over $500,000 in upsell revenue.
