I'm a young engineer working in the innovative modular construction industry. Modular construction is a channel for my skills and talents and has a positive impact on communities and the environment. It is something I can be proud of at the end of the day. I'm a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate. My senior year of college I researched the novel approach of using compressed air to store energy and bridge the gap between peak production and the use of renewable energy. I had the privilege of interning with Jinko Solar's Madrid office on the development and project management of large-scale solar power plants. Then I worked at the 492 MW Maverick Creek Wind Project working on the foundations and erections for 127 turbines. After that I was Production Manager for a modular company in Atlanta. Currently me and my brother, Mateo Atwi founded an innovative modular construction company in Lafayette LA, usframefactory.comOn a personal level, I am a travel and adventure enthusiast. I'm always looking to visit new places and learn. I've visited 8 countries and lived in Spain and China. The opportunity to experience a new culture is humbling, it has changed my perspective on the world and help me acquire a great appreciation and understanding of people. I've hiked and camped in several of the U.S top national parks. I've recently became a certified scuba diver and taught myself how to unicycle.
