I founded Marco Investimentos at the age of 25 with two trainees. With the concept of being specialists in estate planning and equities, we went from zero to BRL 2 billion AUM in four years. This rapid growth process earned us awards such as the seventh most efficient office in Brazil and opened up opportunities to expand from one city to four across Brazil. My role as CEO was to look after all areas of the business and make them efficient and profitable. Fixed income, insurance, equities, derivatives, foreign exchange and estate planning. Choosing the agricultural sector as our focus for client service led to good growth and exposure to private credit structuring. During my management we had exclusive programmes such as advisor training, Promed and Pink Money, all aimed at providing an exclusive service to investors.

I am proud to have spearheaded a revolutionary project that has left an indelible mark on the financial landscape in Brazil: the creation of a unique investment advisor training and development platform that has successfully scaled the role of investment advisors across Brazil. This was an innovative venture, using first meeting automation, PowerBI analytics and targeted digital marketing strategies.Over the course of the project, we trained more than 200 people, pioneering a pathway for professionals outside the traditional financial sector to become qualified investment advisors. This initiative was more than a pioneering effort; it was a game-changer, fostering a globally connected and inclusive financial ecosystem.In my leadership role, I orchestrated a comprehensive technology team, assembling a squad that included a business analyst, a full-stack developer and a product owner. In my role at Gx, I was faced with the complex task of streamlining the operations of an investment office - a role that required not only a meticulous balance of various processes, but also a critical evaluation of the results. My journey was full of responsibilities, each of which marked a significant milestone in my career. At the helm of operational development, I ventured deep into the nuances of creating strategies that were both innovative and sustainable. The goal was clear: to ensure efficiency without compromising the quality of results. As someone who has always had a penchant for numbers, analysing operational results was more than just a task, it was a way of translating data into actionable insights. It was an area where numbers told stories and helped to shape strategies that were not only efficient, but also aligned with the company's vision. As the head of CRM, I wore several hats, each fostering a robust relationship with customers while ensuring a seamless operational workflow. It was a dance of maintaining harmony and synergy between different facets of the business. Leadership became a daily practice, an integral part of the routine. It was about fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, where every day was an opportunity to learn and grow together as a team. Along the way, I also spearheaded the creation of new metrics, a venture that took us into uncharted territories of possibility and opportunity. It was a quest for excellence, a quest to redefine the standards of what we could achieve as a team. I also played a key role in the institutional development of the company. Creating the policies and weaving the institutional fabric that would hold the ethos of the organisation was a responsibility I carried with great pride and dedication. Looking back, it's exhilarating to see how these roles have not only contributed to Gx's growth, but have also shaped my journey, honed my skills and fostered a spirit of continuous learning.

During my tenure as a CVM-certified Independent Investment Agent, further qualified by ANCORD and Bovespa under the Operational Quality Programme (PQO), I meticulously honed my expertise in the financial sector, channeling it into diverse areas such as Fixed Income, Funds, Stocks, Futures, Commodities, Real Estate, Pensions and Insurance.In my role, I took the lead in creating comprehensive and insightful meetings that served as a fulcrum for the execution and monitoring of investment orders. In addition, my responsibilities extended to organising and orchestrating investment related events and courses, fostering a community of enlightened and informed investors.My role as a financial advisor has always been based on using my acumen in financial advice and education to guide clients to maximise their investments while prudently protecting their wealth. It's been my privilege to develop bespoke strategies that reflect each client's unique profile and aspirations, enabling them to navigate the financial landscape with confidence and foresight.

After my enriching experience with leadership programmes such as Fundação Estudar's LabX, I was inspired to promote change at the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG), where the culture of Junior Enterprises (JE) was noticeably absent, especially in the economics course.Opus Consultoria Júnior, a not-for-profit association, is a prestigious entity affiliated to the Business School of the Federal University of Rio Grande - FURG. Composed entirely of undergraduate students and supported by the guidance and technical assistance of an assembly of professors, masters and doctors, the company embodies the spirit of dedication and relentless pursuit of excellence. Primarily serving entrepreneurs and small to medium-sized enterprises, Opus is committed to providing applied studies that deliver tangible results, reduce uncertainty and increase the likelihood of business success.Seeing no alternative, I took on the daunting task of introducing this transformative concept to my peers. Together with two dedicated colleagues, we founded Opus Consultoria Júnior from scratch and nurtured it to become a beacon of knowledge and expertise. We spearheaded initiatives to bring courses and lectures from different corners of Rio Grande do Sul to our team, cultivating a rich learning environment.Under our stewardship, Opus pioneered several firsts: becoming the first JE to have its own private room, creating a functional website and securing funding for a project. In addition, we built a strong foundation that facilitated the creation of nine other JEs and fostered a vibrant network and collaborative events among peers. Today, the company is robust, under the aegis of its third generation of members.My belief in the critical role of stewardship of public investment is deeply reflected in the legacy of Opus. It remains a testament to our commitment and a gift to all future students of economics at FURG.
