Through transfection and immunostaining paired with confocal microscopy the role of Actin Interacting Protein 1 (AIP1) in Cofilin rod disassembly was explored, as a potential therapeutic target for Alzheimer’s disease.

Involved simultaneously in a range of projects including the development of a bone marrow on-a-chip system model for predicting drug-induced bone marrow toxicity, through which I gained experience in micro-physiological systems (MPS).
