As a sociologist focusing on race, gender and VAWG I've transitioned from influencing policies at the University of Warwick to an independent consultancy role through my consultancy - Tiana Holgate Ltd. At the heart of my work is the implementation of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives, complemented by strategic communication skills that amplify social justice narratives.Previously, I championed inclusive environments at TapIn and the University of Warwick, managing sensitive harassment cases, developing DEI strategies and curating UK-wide research into the experiences of Black Gen Z. My approach intertwines research-led insights with authentic storytelling, fostering inclusive cultures and guiding diverse talent engagement. By bringing these experiences to my consultancy, I support organisations in articulating and actualising their commitment to equity and inclusion through research, consultancy and event design.As the leader of SOAR I support 18-30-year-olds to step into the fullness of life ahead of them. Through the design, co-ordination and facilitation of large events, I bring a diverse range of individuals together, to figure out young adulthood in community. At the core of all I do is leading authentically with love, to spark radical change.
