Tian Ching is a Managing Director at Vance Group Ltd, a diversified business group based in Singapore with interests in biofuels, oleochemicals, packaged chemicals and nutraceuticals. Prior to co-founding Vance Group, Tian Ching spent almost a decade in investment banking. As Vice President at Lazard, he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, where he managed more than US$5 billion worth of completed M&A transactions across Asia. Prior to Lazard, Tian Ching worked as an analyst covering fixed income products and currencies at J P Morgan. Tian Ching has an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School, where he graduated as a Palmer Scholar. He also has undergraduate degrees in Computer Engineering and Finance from the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated with Magna Cum Laude.
