JolliDeal.com was a e-commerce start-up founded by 3 partners with an idea to provide an innovative online shopping experience by combining bidding fee auction with online retailing. Our team identified a growing interesting in bidding fee auction in Singapore and attempted to disrupt the industry by offering an open and transparent bidding process, incorporating social media elements and combining online retail features into our business. We experimented with SEO and marketing on various social media platform and managed to attract 4000 over registered users within a short span of 5 months despite our limited budget.My role in JolliDeal.com was to oversee operations. I was mainly involved in business development, supplier liaison, procurement, inventory management and order fulfillment & delivery.

I was an Intern and system developer at Verysolid Technology Sweden AB. Verysolid built innovative and user friendly mobile services. The first product enables users to post classified ads with pictures on online classifieds sites directly from their mobile phones. The second product, Mobile Survey, enables companies to perform survey based research with users accessing the questionnaire through their mobile phones. As an intern, I am involved in system development (XHTML, JSP, JAVA, MySQL), product testing and sales. During my internship with Verysolid, I learnt the ropes of product development and marketing innovative concepts and products.
