Graduate from the University of West Georgia with a Bachelors of Science in Mass Communications (Convergence Journalism) and a minor in Studio Art. Being a Mass Communications student has allowed me to expand my knowledge in today's society with growing media and technology. It has taught me strong oral and written communication skills. Hands on experience with the Universities newspaper and television station has helped shape my knowledge and ability to operate in many media outlets.Minoring in studio art made me more knowledgeable in many different mediums of art from printmaking and sculpting to drawing, painting, and photography. As a freelance artist these skills allow me to complete commission projects and art for collectors as well as small businesses. My three years practicing inside the classroom and specifically in urban communities has allowed me the experience to cater to a variety of youth and gain essential classroom management skills.
