About Tiara S.
My name is Tiara Starks, an emerging media professional based in the Greater NYC-area. I am an alum of the University of New Haven's College of Arts and Sciences, where I graduated cum laude and earned a B.S. degree in Communication with a concentration in Film Production and a minor in Business Management. Some of my collegiate accomplishments include pitching an entertainment news segment called 'Into the Spotlight' where I served as lead scriptwriter, working on award-winning live-action student films including 'Divine' (2019) as a Production Assistant and Social Media Creator and 'The Third Act' (2024) as a member of the Writing Team, Marketing/PR Team, and On-Set Script Supervisor, and crewing for my peers' independently-made short film projects.
