* Hardware support and software support including the repair and maintenance of Agilent Technologies Chromatography, Spectroscopy and PAC chemical analysis products installed in Chemetrix’s territory.* Installation, configuration and commissioning of software products including the loading of configuring of hardware and software for new orders and repairs. * Compliance services and performance verification and calibration of the above products. * Provide operator familiarization training on the hardware and software of above products during installation and commissioning. * Continuous self-education with, all technical tools available from the suppliers. (e.g. Services notes, newsletters, Agilent Intranet Training, Scheduled Internet CBT and Webex, CD-ROM tools, etc). * Knowledge of the company’s support administration procedures and systems, contracts system, inventory system tools, responsibility for service kits and other inventory and capital equipment (e.g. PC’s) allocated. * Provide hardware and software support to sales personnel as necessary. * Support the company’s sales and marketing efforts and be a key member of the technical team. * Propagate the company’s business interests in all dealings with customers. * Be committed to customer satisfaction with Win/Win relationship in all dealings with customers, both internal and external.

* Drive day to day sales in line with the strategic sales plan and ensure targeted sales, growth and GPM'S for the area are met.* Manage key accounts and distributors in the area.* Achieve individual sales targets.* Service existing customers.* Increase customer base/ market share gaining new customers.* Monitor and Report competitor activities* Assist in preparation of sales targets.* Compile sales reports when requested.* Assists in collection of customers outstanding finances.* Perform any other reasonable task that may be required or requested in order to achieve the objectives and purpose of the position.

*Customer Service Engineer for Gas and Liquid Chromatography, Mass Spectroscopy and Headspace.*Ensures quality service provided to all Customers, in the quickest possible turnaround time including technical and application support. *Ensures correct levels of spares and literature are available to support products.* Ensures all admin procedures are followed and deadlines are met, follow-ups and ensures with customers that relevant spares are ordered and received *Provide sales leads to relative sales manager and account manager.*Respond as quickly as possible to all incoming calls while adhering to a 3 days maximum repair time with exception where spares are required *Keep Customer informed always about progress of repairs and service; preventative maintenance services and installations.*Plan visits or use available time when doing routine services within an area
