Senior Analytics ConsultantAginity Inc. Mar 2018 - Jul 2019Lead analytics projects in web search, marketing, finance, CPG, health insurance, and telecommunicationsLead analytics projects around credit scoring, customer segmentation, customer LTV, shopper profile, click-stream analysis, propensity modeling, incentive offersRecent Analytics Projects:For a major retail / CPG data aggregator and coupon platform, I designed a system to cluster source code of 10k SAS programs to identify commonality of data sources and data preparation routines. I implemented the initial version in Python and supervised development of a "quick win" version in SQL and Java, then a more sophisticated version using Python scikit-learn. For a top-three US automotive search site, I implemented a predictive model in R for click-through propensity, with some features derived from a collaborative filtering system I designed to classify products based on consumer search history at the site. For an international CPG manufacturer, I redesigned an existing modeling process in R to use Hive for data preparation, R for modeling, and Hive for model prediction resulting in very large efficiency gains. I also demonstrated moving the modeling process from R to Spark (with examples in both Python and Scala). For a US housing lender, I designed a system to use their MPP system directly to calculate financial metrics such as IRR, rather than transferring data to SAS to perform calculations.
