Responsible for strategic development of the organisation, as well as HR, MarCom, administration, relation with shareholder and financial results.

Acquisition, project development, project management and project execution.Work focuses on resource recovery from solid and liquid residues, and treatment of these streams (waste and wastewater). This starts with the stakeholders, and identifying common grounds and objectives. From here on we work with technologies to materialize visions, concepts and ambitions in the wastewater chain. Once built, the projects can be monitored and evaluated to learn how we can make the wastewater system more sustainable and what the next steps will be. Specific work areas include:- New Sanitation in the Netherlands: Innovations in the (waste)water chain in urban and rural areas: resource recovery (energy, water, nutrients, organic matter), treatment and reuse. Clients are municipalities, water boards and private initiatives. - Sanitation (WaSH) projects in the South: Treatment of waste and wastewater and agricultural reuse of recovered resources (N, P, K, OM, Water). Clients are national and international governments.- Education (innovation) for WUR. Contribution to coordination, production, running and lectures of various online (MOOCS; AMS.URB.1x, AMS.URB.2x), and offline (ETE-22806) courses at Wageningen University.
