Oct 2015 - Apr 2016: Developed notification system for Amazon Instant Video in iOS, FireOS and Android platforms.Nov 2014 - Oct 2015: Developed the first three releases of Music app and Prime Music for Fire TV and Fire TV stick. The app was well received by the public, and is a selling feature of Fire TV and Fire TV Stick on Amazon website. It has the most number of users streaming Prime Music in some territories.

Developed a C++ library for device-to-device communication using WebSocket and Amazon services. This library is now part of the Fling SDK that is released to the public at: https://developer.amazon.com/appsandservices/apis/experience/flingDeveloped the first few releases of Second Screen feature for Amazon Instant Video on Kindle tablet, Fire Phone, Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick. The feature was demoed on stage by Amazon senior vice president for the Fire tablet launch in Sep 2013, and Fire TV launch on April 2014. The feature is currently listed as a distinguished selling point for Fire tablet and Fire TV on the Amazon website. Developed an internal service for automatically symbolicating iOS crash logs. The service was written in Java and was deployed on AWS for scalability and availability. The service is being used by many Amazon iOS apps such as AIV, Kindle, IMDb, MP3 and MyHabbit.Developed Amazon Instant Video iPad app (version 1.0 - 1.4). The app was well received by the public, and was #1 in the free app category in the iTunes store for nearly one week. Since release, the app is always the mobile client with the most streaming users for Amazon Instant Vide. Promoted to SDE2 on April 2014.

Developed an iPhone application to promote Iowa City as a UNESCO City of Literature. The application contains multimedia content (webpages, images, audio, video), as well as a map function for navigating interesting places. The software was approved to appear in Apple's App Store.Communicated and coordinated with technical professionals in different disciplines (database, information collection, IT department, and Psychology department) to accomplish tasks.

Designed and developed software for studying perception and behavior in virtual environments. Worked with a head-mounted display system, and a three-sided CAVE system which interfaces with a specially instrumented stationary bike and treadmill.
