To be in line with market developments.- Business model innovation: I am one of the drivers of business model innovation within Shimano Europe. starting from the business model canvas, and value proposition canvas, via multiple experiments, towards a tested hypothesis.- Innovation and improvements: within Shimano, I try to challenge myself and my co-workers to rethink the way we work. (For example, how can we be more sustainable whilst generating more value?) For inspiration, I visit events/webinars/training, also read books and follow the bicycle news in general. Weekly I summarize this in an internal newsletter, in which the focus is on (macro) trends and potential opportunities or threats.- Partnerships & start-ups: I actively search, connect, and identify potential partnerships and interesting start-ups.- Sustainability: one of the things I value very much and actively drive within Shimano. Tijdens mijn stage bij EF heb ik drie of vier dagen per week meegewerkt op de marketingafdeling. Gedurende mijn werkzaamheden heb ik meegeholpen met het verzamelen van leads zowel via online, als offline marketingcampagnes. Daarnaast ben ik actief op zoek gegaan naar mogelijkheden voor samenwerkingen zowel met sportclubs, scholen en overige stichtingen De overige dagen heb ik gewerkt aan mijn afstudeeronderzoek. Naast operationeel te zijn op straat, ben ik verantwoordelijk over de teams op locatie en ben ik een aanspreekpunt om hen aan te sturen, stimuleren en te motiveren zodat zij optimaal presteren. Tevens is het mijn taak om nieuwe collega's op te leiden tot zo goed mogelijke wervers die maximaal presteren naar hun mogelijkheden.

During my internship I was responsible for everything that happened with the program Salesforce, I had to give presentations about the best way to use it to the employees and I had to control if everybody used it the right way. I also have made a analyze about the sales Wequips had in the last 5 years, to make targets specified per country and per brand. Those two tasks were my major tasks during my internship, the rest of my tasks were related to HRM and Business Development.
