About Tiffanee French
I love puzzles. Jigsaw, crossword, number, logic, cryptic, hidden image, escape rooms and now Wordle - my current obsession that sparks momentary flashbacks of hot summer road trips across state lines and challenging my mother and sister to endless games of Bulls and Cows to pass the time. I crave that sense of proud satisfaction that euphorically overcomes me upon completion of whatever I’ve set out to tackle. But it is the thrill of piecing elements together and that feeling of imminent discovery along the way that truly drives me. I constantly desire to be solving for myself, my family and friends in an effort to be a pillar of support generating on-going relief and that is no different in the professional world and the problems that arise there. I pride myself in my ability to be a dependable and trusted support unit and I bring a can-do attitude - every time. When it comes to problem solving, I’m driven by data and am most happy when I can explore and apply various analytical methods to the one issue. Working in finance for over 10 years has allowed for this passion to thrive. But I felt it was time to try something different. I decided to explore my enjoyment of actively seeking out better ways of doing things to enhance the customer experience, which led me to study supply chain and logistics later in my career and develop another budding interest in the digital aspect of the field. My mind is a constant conveyor belt of possible scenarios and risk assessments - and I love it! My most recent achievement has been pivoting from the finance/engineering sector to digital, where I completed a six month training and work placement as part of the pilot of the Victorian Government's Digital Talent Program, upskilling and later applying UX/UI and digital product ownership principles and methods in my role. My intention now is to combine the logistics degree with my financial background and enter the digital realm with a particular focus on supply chain and workflow optimisation. Outside of work, I’m mum to two gorgeous (totally unbiased) and highly energetic little humans. Their zest for life fuels me. I just love their curiosity and seeing the world from their perspective is refreshing. When I’m not playing the floor is lava or doing a puzzle of some sort, I’m watching reruns of Star Trek (Next Generation and DS9), exploring local art exhibits, listening to supply chain optimisation podcasts, enjoying a cult-classic at the local theatre with my husband, perfecting my jerk chicken recipe and hunting down scotch bonnet peppers in Melbourne.
