As a Communications & Public Relations Representative at Belco Community Credit Union, I leverage my 12+ years of experience and degree in Corporate Communications to create and distribute engaging and informative materials that showcase Belco's products, services, and community involvement. I work with the marketing team to develop and implement strategic communications plans, write and edit press releases, newsletters, social media posts, and other content, and monitor and measure the effectiveness of our communication channels and campaigns. I am excited to be part of Belco, a leading and trusted credit union that serves and supports its members and the community.Before joining Belco, I was the Director of Resource Development at YWCA of Greater Harrisburg, where I led the fundraising, communications, and events strategies for the organization. I collaborated with the executive team and the board of directors to identify, cultivate, and solicit major donors, grants, and sponsorships for the YWCA's initiatives and events. I secured multiple grants, donations, and partnerships that supported the YWCA's programs and services for women and families. I also coordinated and executed successful events, such as the annual Women of Excellence Awards and the Race Against Racism, that raised awareness and funds for YWCA's mission and vision. I am passionate about empowering and uplifting communities through effective and ethical communication and resource development.
