The Health Equity Collective is a growing community of predominantly BIPOC health and equity leaders from all walks of life who began gathering together in 2020 to envision a future for health justice and address systems of oppression in health care. The Collective aims to transform the American health system from one that profits on sickness to one that invests in wellness. This program is funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation; the experience is stewarded by a co-leadership team of BIPOC equity leaders and initially started within the human-centered design non-profit, IDEO.org.
