The Organizational Development (OD) Team’s purpose is to boost organizational health and effectiveness in a sustainable way. We do this by respecting and celebrating human differences, nurturing a culture of lifelong learning and self-renewal, and supporting our managers and team leaders as trusted consultants.

I design and develop highly interactive eLearning experiences with Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Suite, Vyond, and other eLearning authoring software, as well as script, design and develop live action and animated training videos. I develop learning programs and engagement initiatives from the ground-up using systematic instructional design methodologies, and partner with SMEs, stakeholders, and clients to coordinate development of course materials and activities to ensure that business goals are aligned and outcomes exceed expectations.

Developed curriculum and instructional materials for a variety of academic clients from secondary to higher education. Conducted needs analysis and evaluated performance metrics to improve learning outcomes. Created assessments to target specific areas designated for improvement.

Evaluate constructed standardized test responses for elementary and secondary education students.

Under the guidance of the Director of Course Development and Lead Instructional Designer, conducts needs analysis to evaluate client need and effectiveness of learning solutions. Collaborates with all members of the learning development team to determine overall project vision, media/production requirements, and technical needs. Designs and drafts instructional materials, including syllabi, technical documentation, course navigation and descriptions, media scripts, and interactive learning experiences. Develops and authors e-learning courses with Articulate Storyline 2, Adobe Captivate, and iSpring Suite.As an E-learning Writer/Editor, collaborate with clients and other members of the learning development team to assess needs and create engaging and instructionally sound content for corporate compliance training and higher education courses. Researches, drafts, and revises course content, including scripts for media development, technical guides, and course navigation.

English and Creative Writing tutor for undergraduate students. Provided proofreading and general consultations on writing for purpose, audience, grammar, and style. Implemented a self-sustaining schedule which allowed students to sign up for available tutoring spots online, receive automatic text reminders, and even pay for services via PayPal, without any need for personal management. Students showed at least one letter grade improvement for academic papers and were able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of how to convey ideas and information clearly and efficiently on essay exams.

• Managed day-to-day operations of a fast-paced, small business environment, including answering phones, filling out paperwork, scheduling employees’ hours, and filing paperwork.• Implemented Microsoft Office Solutions in a previously paper-based office, leading to greater efficiency and lower overhead and eliminating the need for employees to carry around or fill out heavy paperwork.• Promoted to Executive Assistant in 2009, working directly under the business owner as a personal assistant and business manager. In addition to performing all previous duties, added duties included calendar management, creating presentations on expenses and profits, and a variety of other tasks to meet the needs of an executive in a quickly growing business.• Aided in the growth of the company from an initial client list of 20-30 local businesses to a list of over 150 businesses, including long-term contracts with several franchises including Heartland Foods, Burger King, Taco Bell, and Shoe Carnival.

I answered customer service and customer relations calls for 1-800-Walmart. My duties included taking comments and suggestions and passing them along to store managers, coordinating with store managers to enhance customer experience in-store, providing a link between store managers/employees and the corporate office as well as regional managers, and general customer service responses over email and written letters.
