Honorably served as the Mayor of Willingboro Township responsible for leading the legislative function and providing oversight of the executive function for a 7.7 square mile municipality with over 33,000 residents under the Faulkner Council-Manager form of government. Working collaboratively with Council and the administration we delivered a 0% tax increase for 2021. In 2020, I launched a strategic planning initiative for the Township to create a pathway for the future of Willingboro with inputs from a diverse group of stakeholders, residents, employees, business owners, and plan to reach implementation in Fall 2021. Through the implementation of a performance management process for senior municipal leadership requiring SMART goals and developing a 5-year capital planning process I have increased emphasis on accountability for the administration. With a renewed focus on economic development, I facilitated discussions to rewrite the outdated Township’s Master Plan using an inclusive planning process to establish the long-term planning document and guide for future growth and development; we are on track to have a new Township Master Plan in Spring 2022. By resolution, I designated Juneteenth as a holiday for Willingboro Township and launched the inaugural Juneteenth Day Festival.

Facilitates learning to engage undergraduate engineering students for the largest private engineering college in the nation. Utilizes a variety of instructional strategies to engage students, including cooperative and experiential learning, and various modalities (online, face to face and hybrid). Partners with tenured faculty and the Dean to enhance the instructional design and overall student experience. Served as the Course Chair for multiple programs to synchronize efforts, reduce duplication, enhance student experiences, and keep the Dean and Executive Director informed of challenges while presenting meaningful solutions. Participates in feedback and listening sessions with the University President, Dean and Executive Director to share recommendations to enhance student learning experiences and faculty engagement.
