I was responsible for numerous stations including grill, fryer, and steam, along with occasionally assisting with prep work. This included stocking, preparing, cooking, and cleaning in each station for a 75 seat dining room. I also had experience with managerial responsibilities like leading the team, opening and closing during my shifts, handling bank deposits, and maintaining a positive environment for customers and coworkers.

Upon return to campus during the Covid-19 pandemic, I was selected for a paid proctor position after previously being a volunteer. I was responsible for ensuring academic integrity within undergraduate courses and assisting professors with the exam process.

I entered and maintained accurate job listings, in addition to reviewing applicant interviews and using applicant tracking software to aid the application process. I gained exposure to the inner mechanisms of a non-profit organization, including insight into the marketing, fundraising, human resources, and political affairs department. I conducted research on prospective donors and current representatives in Congress to implement a joint fundraising and marketing campaign in order to generate funds and build support to end global poverty.

I was involved in research on humor with one of my professors in the Psychology Department. Main duties that I had were collecting and analyzing data, collaborating with faculty and fellow students to develop a codebook, and attending weekly progress meetings.
