I’m an award-winning producer who has worked on all sides of the newsroom including package producing, line producing, live events, social media producing, editing, and elections.I currently serve as a Cross-Platform Producer for CNN Newsgathering, having previously been part of the CNN Image+Sound team. In this role, my team and I craft compelling, high-impact stories for CNN's prime-time broadcasts and digital platforms. Throughout my tenure, I've had the privilege of collaborating with a wide range of teams including CNN Audio, the Atlanta Bureau, the former Race and Equality team, Special Projects, and Special Events. This has honed my ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, pushing me to quickly adapt, master new tools and technologies, and ensure that each story we deliver resonates with a diverse and global audience.Before coming to CNN in 2020, I spent more than 12 years as a line-producer at several local news outlets. While based in Orlando, Florida, I had the privilege of producing live webcasts during the 2016 Presidential Election, a pivotal moment in political history. By 2018, I was promoted to executive producer of all election coverage, overseeing a team responsible for delivering comprehensive, real-time updates. I was also tasked with managing an entire news day dedicated to gun-related issues, which involved organizing a community town hall that drew nearly 100 attendees, including local lawmakers, to engage in critical discussions on the topic.Before relocating to Orlando, I worked at an independent news station in Jacksonville, Florida, where I played a key role in launching a highly successful morning newscast. The show blended hard-hitting news, light-hearted features, and viral "talker" segments, capturing the diverse interests of our audience. In addition, I stepped in as interim executive producer for the 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. broadcasts, where I led a talented team.
