Perform duties of an x-ray technologist. Daily QA tests on x-ray equipment. Perform diagnostic imaging as ordered by the provider. Perform duties of a medical assistant including triage, vitals, medical history of the patient and performing rapid tests such as strep, influenza, and urinalysis. Training coworkers on the EMR system and clinical responsibilities as well as x-ray training. Other responsibilities include collecting patient insurance information as well as demographics and co-payments for urgent care visits.

Obtain radiologic images of patients according to doctors orders. Imaging pediatric patients using appropriate technical factors and proper positioning. Triage patients as they come in, obtain vitals. Perform rapid tests.

Obtain images of patient's using x-ray equipment in a high volume orthopedic office. Processing the images in a dark room with a film processor. Maintaining the film process with the use of daily Quality Assurance tests. Maintain temperature of film processor throughout the day. Filing patient x-rays in film library.

Obtained patient demographics and medical insurance information upon entering the emergency room of the hospital. Collected patient payments when necessary. Also, obtained patient demographics, medical insurance, and co-payments for outpatient procedures such as radiology, surgery, and lab work. Registered patients into the hospital system using AS400 and Promed.
