As the Pharmacy Manager, I lead our Multidose Packaging Adherence Program. Our program focuses on a specific population of need within our community. Through this program, I make connections with my patients and their families as well as providers. I educate both patients and providers around their medications and options to help them maintain adherence.I also participates in monthly financial business reviews and strategy meetings to continue growing our business and supporting our patients to reach better outcomes.

As a board member for the Massachusetts Pharmacists Association, I chair the Events Committee, am on the Social Media Committee, and have worked on many initiatives, including hosting educational programs and raising awareness of the role pharmacists play in healthcare. I'm honored to be a part of the organization and look forward to making a difference in the pharmacy profession.

Northern New England

While working as a Healthcare Supervisor, I served as the company representative for regulatory meetings, including the state board of pharmacy and advocacy activities in MA and VT. This role involved driving the profession's ability to improve patient outcomes through internal communication and compliance and impactful influence externally. I also worked directly with the Pharmacy Affairs team to properly implement procedures and act on new regulatory requirements.One of my additional responsibilities was to create material and present to Regional Healthcare Leaders across New England relating to improved patient outcomes and educating them on their role in achieving results. This material was designed to help healthcare leaders understand how they could contribute to better patient outcomes while also maintaining compliance and what their specific roles were in achieving those results.I was also part of a small team responsible for the role out of the COVID19 vaccine role out in Vermont and New Hampshire. I met daily with leaders in both states' Boards of Health to ensure all members of the communities were given the opportunity to be vaccinated aligning with the everchanging recommendations and eligibilities. I am proud I had a major part in initially providing approximately 290,500 vaccines in the first 8 months of vaccine approval with the support of just 70 Walgreens locations and that Vermont was the first state to reach the 80% population vaccinated goal.

Southern Massachusetts

While working as a Pharmacy Transition Leader for the Rite Aid Acquisition, I was responsible for successfully retaining key team members and our patients while managing restructure during the time of 25 closures and approximately 100 brand conversions. I was able to do this by creating a case for change and gaining their trust through open and honest communication. I also demonstrated compassion for my team members throughout this cultural change and maintained transparency during uncertain and ever-changing circumstances. Additionally, I was responsible for the development of the capabilities of the acquired district managers. I created and delivered individualized education sessions and additional resources around Walgreens' policies and procedures regarding both operations and performance management.I led sessions with the acquired pharmacy managers to educate them around performance management of team members, including technicians and staff pharmacists. During these sessions, I created lasting relationships and built trust so that these managers could use me as a resource in performance management in the future.

While a Board Member of teh Pharmacy Today Magazine, I actively participated in monthly discussions with the board. As part of my duties, I helped select topics to be addressed in the monthly magazine. Additionally, I was interviewed for some articles.

I developed and implemented procedures for pharmacists to offer and dispense naloxone through standing order protocol across Massachusetts resulting in easier access for patients to life saving drug.I improved operations in a struggling location by hiring, on-boarding and coaching technicians and pharmacists in order to provide excellent care to patients in an expedient manner.Working as a Preceptor to pharmacy students during rotations I helped to prepare them for the role of pharmacist and pharmacy manager.
