I like to take an idea from crazy conception to see it executed and enjoyed by others. I also just have the natural want to help people, even by making a small difference in their daily life.Throughout my career, I've led new initiatives that create revenue streams and spark creativity. Developing programs for impact means participating in community focus groups and collaborating with leadership teams to activate groups and achieve common goals.📰 CAREER HIGHLIGHTS • Initiated and cultivated relationships with key stakeholders and investors, including the City of Durham, Durham County, Durham Public Schools, and multiple other partners and corporations in Durham and around the Triangle• Built relationships with Chamber members, by hosting programs, roundtables, and networking events, increasing retention rates more than 30%• Oversaw all Chamber programming and events – from conception to execution – hosting more than 130 events in 2018; 75 in 2019; and nearly 300 (mostly virtual) events in 2020• Represented the Durham Chamber at member events, partnership meetings, and economic development announcementsAbove all, my passion aligns with engaging people and contributing expertise to solve the most challenging problems.
