Currently, I serve as the Strategic Partnerships Liaison for the Emerald Coast Regional Council. I work with our team and the community to form partnerships and connect our resources to help the region. Prior to that, I served as Transportation Project Manager for the Northwest Florida panhandle under the Emerald Coast Regional Council. Duties included organization of all three regional Transportation Planning Organizations, their board meetings, and all aspects of Florida Department of Transportation projects that impact the local communities. I served as a liaison between our city and county elected officials and the agencies involved on issues brought before the board. Prior to joining the Emerald Coast Regional Council, I worked for over 19 years for the U.S. House or Representatives. As a 19 year employee serving the First District of Florida, I gained an eclectic and comprehensive background in constituent and community service. Through assisting countless citizens work their way through bureaucratic nightmares with federal government agencies, including but not limited to the IRS, FEMA, USPS, OPM, HUD, and Department of Labor, I was able to learn the extensive inter-working of our government and compassionate assistance to the individual. I was also able to build an extensive local network encompassing business, non-profit and local governmental municipalities throughout Northwest Florida and relish building relationships for those I represent. Those connections allowed me to better serve the constituent needs of our citizens. As the designate office manager, I was also privileged to maintain and oversee all office functions and personnel matters. My time in the Congressional office allowed me to oversee the majority of special events planning put on by the office including the Northwest Florida Congressional Arts Competition, job and health fairs, mobile office projects, and academic programs among many others.
