Current• Design and oversee restoration measures that revitalize the habitat for local wildlife, fostering the return of bobcats, coyotes, owls, rabbits, birds, bees, and various insects.• Remediate structural fire damages while enhancing soil health through composting, mulch and cover crops.• Successfully engage and collaborate with a team of contractors, arborists, indigenous elders, and fire remediation specialists to restore beauty that aligns with regeneration.• Implement water-efficient solutions, including native plant and tree installations, creation of a pollinator meadow, establishment of a biodynamic garden, while promoting biodiversity.• Spearheaded the protection of sacred Chumash land by partnering with Chumash elders, archeologists and local community to ultimately halt the proposed excavation of a culturally sensitive site.• Advocated for wildlife conservation, influencing City Council to adopt resolutions: 1) Ban on single-use plastics (straws, cutlery, foam packaging, bags, sandbags); 2) Prohibition of anti-coagulant rodenticides citywide
