Tiffany Eng (she/they) was born and raised in Oakland, California, otherwise known as Xučyun, on Ohlone land. She is a longtime community/coalition organizer, a policy advocate, and an equity-focused environmental city planner who has worked alongside youth and families in California for over twenty years. She currently serves as a Senior Associate at Raimi + Associates, where she centers environmental justice and health equity in the firm's city and regional planning work. Prior to her current role, Tiffany served as an Interim Co-Director and a Land Use Director at the California Environmental Justice Alliance (CEJA), where she has supported the alliance's Green Zones, equitable land use, toxics, energy equity, climate justice, and legislative advocacy work. As a former Green Zones Program Manager for CEJA, Tiffany supported the groundbreaking work that local communities have been leading to transform polluted and neglected areas into resilient and vibrant neighborhoods. Tiffany has also worked with organizations such as the Asian Pacific Environmental Network (APEN), PolicyLink, and the Department of City and Regional Planning at UC Berkeley. For over nine years, she also served as a Youth Organizer, a Policy Director, and a Co-Director at AYPAL: Building API Community Power, where she engaged in leadership development and community organizing with Asian and Pacific Islander youth in Oakland. At AYPAL, Tiffany worked alongside youth, staff, and coalition partners to lead various grassroots campaigns for education justice, youth empowerment, and racial justice. Tiffany has a master's degree in City and Regional Planning from UC Berkeley and dual bachelor's degrees in Art and Asian American Studies from UCLA.
