Process new orders and drive “clean order” initiative from Customer Success into manufacturing and strive towards an overall reduction of order entry throughput time. Promote collaboration with engineering to meet customers’ expectations by providing a complete drawing package with an emphasis on quality and on time submittal.Process change orders and develop positive internal relationships with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering and Production Planning to manage post order changes. Support the manufacturing facility’s efforts to maximize revenue on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis by driving down units on shipping hold. Attend the revenue meeting and manage customers’ orders to reduce units built in manufacturing that are unable to ship for reasons M&S can influence, such as obtaining ship to addresses, points of contacts or working with finance to release credit holds. Manage return authorizations, customer concessions, milestone billing and overdue invoices. Embrace and implement lean manufacturing methodologies to drive continuous improvement within Customer Success. Review processes and procedures as part of standard work. Conduct Root Cause Countermeasures, Rapid Problem Solving events and develop lessons learned. Effectively communicate customer’s shipping schedules and resolve potential delays. Implement and monitor the design freeze schedule. Actively participate and attend daily meetings. Appropriately escalate issues for resolution where applicable.

Identify factors affecting project design as instructed in design review meetings, and by using information provided by the customer and under direction from the Engineering Manager. Use knowledge of manufacturing methods, materials, etc., in developing designs and confers with other departments as necessary to ensure integrity and manufacturability. Prepare drawings and is responsible for resolving associated mechanical and fabrication problems. Participate in designing special modifications to existing parts. Create and edits drawings using current AutoCAD and Inventor software. Forward drawings to Engineering Manager for preliminary review and approval and makes changes and corrections as needed before being sent to customer for approval. Create and updates bill of materials as drawings are developed. Ensure accuracy of work by checking dimensions, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and of various parts to the entire project. Understand established standards, follows them, and suggests improvements when possible. Notify tthe appropriate personnel when other activities are ready to be performed during the design process (material updates, design checks, obtaining load calculation certifications, etc.). Forward final checked drawings to Engineer Manager.

Accurately plan jobs, determine proper material callouts and Customer drawing requirements. Communicate special requirements to production personnel. Update estimating with part notes and data to create complete and effective job travelers that maintain a high level of quality standards. Maintain various logs, queues associated with Contract Review, work orders and purchase orders.

Develop and implement top level processes, HR policy, and Environmental Health and Safety Procedures. Ensure records are established and maintained per QMS requirements. Ensure performance of QMS is reviewed at planned intervals to ensure continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness. Recognize and Pursue opportunities for improvement. Ensure senior management is informed and that Quality Objectives are clearly defined and communicated throughout the facility. Ensure that new staff is inducted into the requirements of the QMS related to their role and responsibility through training. Prepare and oversee regular assessments of customer satisfaction metrics. Develop and implement an internal audit program to verify the effectiveness of all aspects of the QMS. Act as a key point of contact for suppliers, customers and external assessment registrars/bodies before, during and following quality audits. Analyze data, prepare agenda, and attend Senior Management review meetings. Coordinate continual improvement of the QMS. Understand and execute Company goals and objectives while actively contributing to the cohesiveness of the team.

Engineering Assistant – Support engineering team with design, organization, and administrative needs. Including but not limited to; design and revision of Schematic and Mechanical drawing packages, weight and center of gravity calculations, company standard part revisions, boot and bus lists, Nameplate schedules/drawings and laser engraving, cable and wire tag text files and printing, Bill of Material compilations and revisions, forming and release of documentation to production and preparation of customer transmittals. HR Assistant – Schedule/conduct applicant interviews. Maintain applicant database and forward resumes to appropriate department Managers. Develop and maintain personnel database. Personnel record maintenance/protection per regulatory requirements. Front desk reception and switchboard operation. Assist payroll department by updating employee rosters and resolving timesheet discrepancies. Sales/Customer Service Assistant – Support sales team with RFQ database maintenance and order entry. Review, revise and deliver sales proposals. Organize customer and vendor appearances and luncheons. Report negotiated sales results to Senior Management and Sales Representatives. Wiring Technician – Perform assembly and wiring functions to final completion, of breakers, switchgear, cradles and related medium voltage equipment. Read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders and reports. Adjust, repair and replace electrical components.
