I have a Master of Science degree at Columbia Journalism School in New York City and a Bachelor's degree in International Journalism at Renmin University of China in Beijing. I have journalistic experience on business, education, politics in the form of text, video, interactive social media productions and data journalism. At Columbia, I co-founded the Chinese Language Journalist Association and hosted guest speakers like the former editor-in-chief of South China Morning Post. I wrote weekly newsletters for the Asian American Journalist Association. I also co-established a bilingual newsroom, the Poorlitzer Show, to present different opinions starting from the Gaza Solidary Encampment. We got 3 Million views on the first 6 videos in 10 days when they were published on Bilibili.
