At Waxie Sanitary Supply, I direct the day to day operations, to provide customers with value added services, while creating efficiency in the operations and sustainable solutions, helping to drive sales volume and market position through analyzing the logistical needs of our customers and the capabilities of the team. Manage the operational staff within Colorado, overseeing customer service, purchasing, repair/installation service center, day/night warehouse, and delivery drivers. Approve operational and service related expenditures; create ROI’s for new expenses. Responsible for the accuracy and diversity of 1.9 million dollars of inventory, accountable for the maintenance of the fleet and material handling equipment, ensuring the accuracy on customer orders by monitoring the quality of order entry process, order picking process, product delivery process, and billing of customers. Plan and coordinate events, including continuous learning/training for the internal staff, employee appreciation events, sales banquets, and customer product training. Responsible for lowering overall operational expense each year while increasing capabilities of the operational and logistical services provided. Increasing safety awareness among employees, ensuring all safety policies are understood and followed. Collaborate with human resources on workman compensation claims, fleet accident investigations, and reporting. Accountable for the integrity and dispersal of local petty cash account including, paying local vendors, employee expense approval and reimbursements, as well as maintaining front cash accuracy from walk in business.
