■ Developing and implementing the new corporate wellness program for Peak Athletics through mind, body, and spirit programming for 100+ employees through web based technology and individual/group gatherings.■ Managing a $5,000 annual budget and create/maintain relationships in the community through networking. ■ Monitor individual and organizational health progress of the quarterly programs through participation and survey results.

■ Provided information and scheduled appointments for CSU students and faculty for the following programs: Stress Management, Culture Care, Tobacco Cessation, Nutritional Services, Alcohol and other Drugs and CPR and First Aid. ■ Participated in a national search for a new Director for Health Education and Prevention Services.■ Represented and presented an overview of the services provided by the CSU Health Network for Freshmen Orientation. ■ Assisted with strategic planning, referencing Best Practices from the National Education Association, assess staffing needs and establishing budget line items for the department for the 2012 fiscal year.■ Created a Standard Operating Procedure for the distribution and collection of all departmental keys.

■ Gained an understanding of the benefits of therapeutic recreation for individuals with physical and/or mental disabilities.■ Instructed a Multiple Sclerosis water aerobics class and assisted individual members on mobility, flexibility, strength, endurance, and elasticity to increase independence.■ Participated and Refereed Goalball (Paralympics sport played by individuals with blindness or visual impairments).■ Provided social support and physical activity assistance to an individual with Down Syndrome for 12 weeks.

■ Lead senior citizens in group fitness and created exercise prescriptions to achieve specific cardiovascular, strength and flexibility goals. Developed personal relationships with members to provide emotional and social support.■ Assessed members’ blood pressure and provided resources and suggestions to maximize cardiovascular health.■ Handled an emergency situation professionally and quickly filed a report and emergency personnel. ■ Created an informational bulletin board on preventing memory loss that members’ found valuable.
