Since I was a little girl, I've always dreamed of helping people. I knew that I had the skills to enhance people's lives in any way that I could. Science and medicine was a strong interest of mine. I imagined myself being paged "Dr. Richards" when I had dreams of becoming a doctor. Yet, writing was and still is my art, my talent, my calling. My writing has blossomed during my college years. It has it's own tone and it's just waiting to grow like the roots of a willow tree. But as I grow as a person, my interests remain varied including my desires to work in medicine. My present goal is to work in a setting where I can help people in the best way possible, but still feed the need to express myself through writing. I'm currently a college graduate with a BS in the field of magazine journalism. I'm looking for part time work in select industries in this extremely competitive job market. I plan to start my Masters hopefully next year in a field that I believe will perfectly match my skills and desires. Though this step of my life is proving to be challenging, I'm known to be a person who preservers through any road block in life.
