I always knew that I would end up with a career where I worked with people. I studied Communications with an emphasis in Advertising and Public Relations along with minor in Marketing at Morehead State University. I worked my way through college and was able to land a job in pharmaceuticals within a few months of graduation. I worked for Boehringer-Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals for ten years and then transitioned to Pfizer Inc. where I spent 4.5 years. I have covered up to 21 counties in Eastern Kentucky most recently. I was able to quickly adapt to the new world of "working from home" including virtual sales presentations and thrived in the new selling environment. Currently, I am a cardiorenal sales consultant for the Lexington East territory at Bayer. I have successfully represented in the following disease states: chronic kidney disease associated with type two diabetes, atopic dermatitis, erectile dysfunction, smoking cessation, colon cancer screening, overactive bladder, neurology- (fibromyalgia, postherpatic neuralgia, spinal cord injury and diabetic peripheral neuropathy) hypertension/cardiovascular (ARB & CCB), benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), restless leg syndrome (RLS) oral anticoagulant (NVAF) (DVT/PE) and asthma markets. Within these markets I have promoted to the following health care providers: Internal Medicine, Family/General Practice, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, Cardiologist, Electrophysiologist, Rheumatologist, Nephrologist, Neurologist, Pulmonologist, Allergist, Urologist, Gastrointestinologist and Pediatricians. I thrive in the competitive environment but I also equally enjoy the internal team work and collaborations that take place. As my tenor progresses I continually find myself volunteering for leadership positions and enjoy taking on the additional responsibilities. I have also had the honor of winning President's Club in both 2010 and 2013.I look forward to my next career progression and all of the possibilities.
