Tiffany is the owner of Shoemaker Family Law, LLC which focuses solely on providing family legal services to clients in Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties.

Tiffany provides legal representation to clients in all areas of family law including but not limited to divorce, equitable distribution, alimony, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, custody, support and adoptions. Tiffany also provides mediation services in the area of custody and divorce.

Tiffany A. Shoemaker is an experienced attorney who represents clients at all stages of complex family law litigation in divorce, equitable distribution, protection from abuse, support, custody, and adoption matters. She handles matters from the initial petition or complaint to Superior Court Appeals. Tiffany can also assist client’s in preparing contracts to avoid and/or minimize litigation such as pre-nuptial agreements, marital settlement agreements and co-habitation agreements. Additionally, Tiffany has earned a certificate of completion for mediation training and offers mediation services in the areas of divorce and custody.

Family law attorney responsible for handling all aspects of client representation in complex family law matters including divorce, equitable distribution, protection from abuse, support, custody and adoption. Responsible for handling all phases of litigation including complicated legal analysis of high income and complex assets for divorce and support cases.

Responsible for directing a nonprofit law project providing free family law legal services to qualifying clients in Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Bucks counties. Duties include supervising and managing three staff attorneys as well as personally handling a complex family law caseload. Responsible for representation of clients in divorce, equitable distribution, custody, adoption, support, paternity and protection from abuse cases from initial stage of petition or complaint to Superior Court appeal. Responsible for overall project assessment and development, community outreach, and reporting to the federal government. Attended several local and national trainings on family law and immigration issues.

Independently managed all aspects of client representation for the firm’s entire family law caseload including divorce, equitable distribution, protection from abuse, support, custody, name changes and adoptions. Responsible for handling all phases of litigation from initial consultation to Superior Court appeals. Represented clients in other civil matters including landlord-tenant disputes, property issues, commercial debt collection, contract litigation, estates, and District Court cases.

Handled all aspects of a wide variety of family law, civil and criminal matters. Civil trial work focused primarily on family law, worker’s compensation, and employment law. Responsibilities included brief writing, depositions, pre-trial hearings, motions, legal research, plea or settlement negotiations, pre-trial motions, jury selection, trial, and post-trial hearings including appeals. Also worked closely with private investigators and met frequently with current and potential clients. Criminal caseload ranged from summary offenses in Pennsylvania District Court to first-degree felonies in the Court of Common Pleas, as well as appeals in Superior Court.

Responsibilities included representation of the State of New Jersey in criminal prosecutions from plea negotiations to jury and bench trials. Researched and prepared briefs and conducted legal arguments for pre-trial, trial, sentencing and post-conviction motions including appeals. Handled large caseload and prepared cases for trial including directing pre-trial investigation, preparation of witness testimony, working closely with law enforcement and compiling demonstrative evidence.

Represented the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in arraignment hearings.

Represented the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at preliminary hearings in Delaware County District Court through internship program at Widener University School of Law. Responsible for conducting hearings, witness preparation, coordinating with law enforcement and plea negotiation.

Represented victims of domestic violence and obtained protection from abuse orders in New Castle County Court of Common Pleas. Responsible for preparation of cases for trial including witness preparation, coordinating with law enforcement and case research. Worked closely with law enforcement identifying witnesses and compiling demonstrative evidence necessary for trial.
