Identify barriers to employment, and to assist participants in resolving and/or mitigating barriers through various resources including agency referrals, workshops, and other training.responsible for all day-to-day operations of Job Connection to include: assisting a diverse population of job seekers with all employment preparation and job searching tasks as needed; interviewing to determine eligibility, barriers to employment, skills, career interests and employability; reviewing job leads; technology assistance; resume development and application completion; direct job referrals; work readiness counseling; and community resource referrals.

Assist employment specialist with day to day operations of Job Connection, including but not limited to: assisting job seekers with job searches; posting job leads from internet and other resources; assisting with technology in computer lab and training rooms; resume preparation and application completion; promoting training programs, and managing traffic flow. Facilitate, provide and complete intake and orientation processes for industry training programs. Manage participant files and provide accurate documentation for services, including contact notes into CDS internal/external software.

Assisted students with individual care, and ensured students learned the life skills needed to transfer to independent living.

Assisted disabled clients with daily living activities. Distributed medications as directed by doctor. Maintained a safe environment for clients.
