Manage the implementation of the NBA HBCU Fellowship in partnership with the NBA Foundation and Fear Dialogues. Manage the strategic development, planning, and implementation of the Black Student Leadership Network across HBCU and PWI's across the United States. Through training on organizing, advocacy, and servant leadership our focus remains on developing the current and upcoming next generation of leaders who will continue to be champions for child advocacy and well being.

Childrens Defense Fund: Taught a workshop and assisted with the development and implementation of Teen Track for the Samuel Dewitt Proctor InstituteConsulted with organizations and education entrepreneurs to develop sustainable education programs and assist with obtaining grant funding, monetary and non-monetary resources. As a result, clients developed robust curricula, developed, and improved upon partnerships with organizations such as Bread for the City and United Way. Clients also received more funding to help support their initiatives and businesses. Helped write and revise a previously existing curriculum for a client and as a result they received increased funding and provided better student instruction to 30+ students within the Washington, DC area. $55,000 USDA Grant Recipient with IDEA Public Charter School and the leadership of Shakeara Mingo Purpose: Working in partnership with the school to create a culturally inclusive curriculum and program that would address the academic needs of the students and increase their entrepreneurial inquisitiveness. Improved workplace culture to reflect the values and expectations of WAMU’s listeners, members, and the American University community. Strategy was developed to address issues in the areas of diversity, equity, inclusion human resources, management, and problem resolution. Led organization of 150 employees in developing strategies and recommendations for improving overall workplace culture and systems through the lens of diversity, equity, and inclusion. As a result, the organization developed and implemented a revised “Statement of Principles” that was communicated throughout the AU community and 10,000+ listeners and donors.Assisted with the development of 5 teams that consisted of 3-5 employees and leadership team members that researched, strategized, and addressed these specific areas: adapt a new statement of principles, create strategies for improving the relationship between American University, improve upon departmental collaboration and communication systems, develop strategies to improve upon DEI efforts, and create a timeline and plan for implementing changes. Adopted a new employee database that increased transparency and accountability that resulted in the hiring of a new HR director and expanding the HR department to include two specialists to directly focus on matters at WAMU in support of the HR director. Collaborated with American University’s Human Resource Department, Senior Leadership Team, Board of Directors, and Justice and Sustainability Associates to develop a report consisting of recommendations and implementation strategies for workplace improvement. This work led to a strengthening of the Human Resources department, increased collaboration and trainings provided by American University, increased funding for employee professional development and the development of a strategic plan that was actionable and implementable. Created strategy that led to more equitable job and growth opportunities given to internal candidates.
