Dedicated and detail-oriented University of New Haven graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Simultaneously obtained my Paralegal and Victim Services Administration Certificates. Graduated with Magna Cum Laude Honors and was inducted into Alpha Phi Sigma: The Criminal Justice Honor Society for sitting in the top 35% of my academic class. Through my previous internship in the New Haven Superior Court with the Family Violence Victim Advocate Department, I have grown comfortable with criminal law, relevant terminology, and procedures. I have practiced empathy and confidentiality while working with crime victims, effectively assessing their needs in high-stress situations. Prior to beginning my career as a Paralegal, courses such as Legal Research and Writing, Civil Procedure, Administrative Law and Regulation, and Legal Investigation gave me a foundation for valuable professional skills. My current employment at Melick and Porter, LLP continue to strengthen these assets.
