Abacus Row is a design studio exploring material and community intersections. Our shop showcases our work along with the work of fellow creatives—independent designers, artists and small business owners. It is an ever-evolving project that holds space for us to experiment with various creative synergies, and to build communities both within and across disciplines and identities.Our jewelry is crafted in-house, at our production studio and showroom located at the intersection of the Nob Hill and Chinatown neighborhoods of San Francisco, California.Role:- Enable sales operations for a local Asian-American owned and founded handmade jewelry small business and shop exploring material, craft, design, and cultural & community intersections - Offer exceptional customer service via a tailored shop experience through product knowledge and story-telling - Curate, source, and merchandise Abacus Row and With Others products in-store and online - Lead and facilitate Tiếng Việt by Night weekly Vietnamese language community gathering and programming - Create captivating social media content and product + community engagement - Optimize workplace efficiency by 20% through program management and design tooling such as Notion, Canva, Figma, and Adobe Indesign - Manage relationships with local artists, small businesses, and vendors and coordinate pop-ups and events- Lead fulfillment for retail and wholesale online orders; packaging and shipping - Increase customer reviews for market visibility by 3x and maintain a 5 star experience rating across the board - Effectively communicate and coordinate directly with business founder/owner and in-house production team

- Facilitate, produce, and program manage in-person and virtual trainings/learning experiences for employees (manager development, leadership development, anti-harassment, new hire orientation) - Deliver high-quality, captivating, and scalable adult educational experiences in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment (lead onboarding at 100-200 new hires per week rate and through remote-first transition) - Go to person for managing vendor and client relations, implementation proposals, and contract negotiations - Prepare and collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and C-suite leaders for presentations through the train-the-trainer model - Evaluate training effectiveness through surveying, feedback analysis, and metrics tracking—continuously refining programs to optimize learning outcomes (maintain and improve NPI rating: 65 or higher, 8.5+ average rating) - Design and implement manager and individual contributor feedback training workshops and resources based off engagement survey outcomes (COIN model, managing up, upward feedback, 1:1 docs) and provide recommendations to partner teams such as Talent Management, HRBPs, and senior leadership - Analyze raw people data through surveying (Google forms, Workday, Culture AMP, Lattice) and create data dashboards and slide presentations for program improvements, recommendations, and resourcing - Create and implement Jira ticketing system and FAQ educational materials, increasing time-to-respond efficiency by 40% and turnaround time from one week to 24 hour response time - Design all creative and educational materials through instructional design principles (Google Suite, Confluence) - Account owner for LMS (learning management system) and produce e-learning instructional design courses- Start flagship leadership team and programming for employee resource groups (APAC, women, and LGBTQIA+)
