Tiffany V. Colbert is a Civil Trial Attorney in the Orlando area where she primarily practices Personal Injury Protection (PIP) litigation. She is also experienced in SIU matters in addition to GL/BI. Colbert obtained her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Florida in 2008 where she competed on the Nationally Ranked Mock Trial Team. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law in 2011. During law school, Colbert was the President of the Intellectual Property Law Society, served as a Delegate to the American Bar Association House of Delegates, clerked for the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court in Clearwater, Florida, and was awarded the William F. Blews Pro Bono Award for completing over 300 hours of pro bono work.Upon graduation from Stetson Law, Colbert served as an Assistant Public Defender for the 9th Judicial Circuit in Orlando, Florida, and maintained a private criminal law practice for over five years. Colbert has tried over 35 jury trials, over 5 bench trials, and successfully argued countless substantive hearings in the Central and North Florida Area, including the counties of Brevard, Clay, Duval, Lake, Leon, Indian River, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole, St. Johns, Sumter, and Volusia.Colbert is licensed to practice in the State of Florida and in the Middle District of Florida. She is AV Preeminent rated on Martindale-Hubbell and is a Top 100 Lawyer on National Trial Lawyers. Additionally, Colbert is a former Adjunct Professor at the University of Central Florida and coach for the Mock Trial program.
