I was an only child with attributes associated with moving a lot: ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, and ๐๐๐๐๐. Creativity was instilled in me by my father-an abstract painter-and my imaginative mother. I puzzled images and words together in collage and poetry. Curious about language, I took Latin, French, and German in high school, and went on a yr abroad ๐๐ ๐-Italy. I studied Italian and Sociolinguistics at Sarah Lawrence and Oxford (jr year).๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐After college, I started an MA in Linguistics but stopped due to family challenges. I focused on my job at ๐.๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐-๐๐๐ where I ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐. I took those skills to run ๐ ๐๐-๐๐-๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ at a decorative arts school. I joined Barnard College and eventually became Dir of Events Management. I planned, produced, and implemented campus events (5 major events/week, 250/year, 4,000 total). I was on teams that ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐. I handled ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ and collaborated with service providers and staff to ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐.๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ & ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐I became interested in optimizing organizational functionality and supporting staff and got an MS in ๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ณ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐ก๐๐ง๐ ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ at The New School. I joined College Art Association on the ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐. I oversaw the development and implementation of programs, prof development initiatives, and advocacy. I ran the Annual Conference (300+ sessions & 120-vendor Book Fair) convening 5,000+ art professionals and focused on member cultivation.๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐Wanting more ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ in Advancement, I went to Manhattan University where I spearheaded planning and execution of ceremonial, donor appreciation, and fundraising events (De La Salle Dinner had record $3.6 mil./2023). I wrote a memoir about art and legacy. I make art and exhibit my work and publish artwork in literary magazines. Community, culture, and time in nature are important and give me balance.
