Estimator Extraordinaire™ skilled in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Construction and Manufacturing Estimation, Data Analytics, Microsoft Excel, and (most importantly) Math. For the past decade, I’ve worked in construction, real estate and economics; analyzing data, researching and providing full cost estimates using bidding software while learning the intimate details of steel manufacturing (like confirming pieces adhere to ICC/IAPMO standards.) I’m excellent at time management and have successfully met all of the sudden deadlines thrusted upon me by 14 different branches in order to win bids. I'm knowledgeable about the price of steel, drywall, and other construction accessories in several markets located across the United States and Canada, including but not limited to: the Pacific Northwest, American Southwest, Alaska, Hawaii, and the province of British Columbia.I've prepared relevant and reliable financial forecasts for steel manufacturing, conducted complex risk analysis, managed various projects, and presented reports on my research with its conclusions to senior management. My goal is to provide the best possible bid for any project by analyzing as many factors as possible (including allowances for wasted materials, bad weather, shipping delays, etc.) to achieve maximum profitability for my company while maintaining excellent relationships with all our clients and vendors.I'm currently the proud owner of two cats and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) focused in Economics and Psychology from The Evergreen State College. When I'm not setting the price of steel or engaging in cost analysis, you can find me enjoying a good book, hiking the beautiful forests of the PNW, or baking up a storm.
