Tiffany Cook, MA is the Director of Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Workplace Programs at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Population and Quantitative Health Sciences and Medicine at UMass Chan Medical School. With a passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion and over fifteen years of education and administration experience, she has expertise in program implementation and management, budget and fiscal operations, research and analysis, and business writing. She has demonstrated leadership skills in managing staff and advising faculty, deans, and executive leaders on diversity and inclusion efforts. Tiffany is an effective communicator and has experience in presenting tailored talking points and slide decks for internal and external presentations. Her research interests include promoting health equity and diversity within academic medicine, improving learner outcomes in diversity education, and supporting the recruitment and retention of LGBTQ+ trainees and faculty within the health professions. She has published in journals such as Transgender Health and Academic Medicine, and her recent publications include "Interrupting Microaggressions in Health Care Settings: A Guide for Teaching Medical Students" and "Gendered Expectations: Strategies for Navigating Structural Challenges in Support of Transgender and Nonbinary Trainees in Academic Medicine."
