I am proud to be the executive director of the Holmes County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Bureau. Holmes County is located in the heart of Ohio Amish Country. Prior to this I was Sales Manager for the Ohio Star Theater, a 500-seat state-of-the-art theater in Sugarcreek, Ohio for nearly two years. I began my career in tourism in 1992 in multiple positions with the Tuscarawas County Convention and Visitors Bureau.Specialties: My strengths through experience include: destination marketing, developing networking tools and programs for local partners, utilizing non-traditional assets and funds to complete projects and initiatives, creating marketing programs that showcase the very best of the region, graphic design, program coordination and organizational leadership. I have extensive experience in experiential tourism development at local historic sites and attractions including railroad heritage, local history, Native American interpretation, culinary tourism and event promotion.I am or have been a member of the following: Ohio Travel Association executive board, Ohio Has IT group tour marketing partnership (co-founder and Treasurer), Dennison Railroad Depot Board, Schoenbrunn Village Advisory Board, Tuscarawas Valley Heritage, Inc. (current treasurer), Ohio Outdoor Historical Drama Association (past president), Tuscarawas County Public Library Board of Trustees, Adventures in Northeast Ohio (past president), Heartland Travel Showcase ('15 Chairperson). I have also been active with Leadership Tuscarawas both as a student and volunteer.
