Recover Alaska is pursuing a solutions-focused effort to recover, reclaim, and restore the strengths of Alaska’s families and communities by getting to the root causes of excessive alcohol consumption.

Manage government affairs programs for Providence Health and Services Alaska and Montana

My father, a 62-year-old E.R. physician from Alaska, is riding his bicycle 12,000 miles around the perimeter of the US in 120 days. My mother, a 61-year-old recent breast cancer survivor, is driving a support vehicle with him each pedal of the way. They are spreading awareness of cancer, and I am helping them raise funds for the Lance Armstrong Foundation and the Susan Butcher Family Center (at Providence Hospital, where my father works).
